Simple claims are typically settled within 7–15 working days. Complex claims involving surveys may take 30–60 days, depending on insurer timelines.

Yes. We provide claim dispute resolution support, including liaison with the insurer, IRDA grievance mechanisms, and insurance ombudsman referrals where necessary.

Health Insurance

A waiting period is the initial time during which certain conditions are not covered. The initial waiting period is typically 30 days; pre-existing diseases usually have a 2–4 year waiting period.

Spouses and children born or legally adopted after policy inception can usually be added at the next renewal. Some insurers allow mid-term additions with an endorsement.

Maternity cover is available as an add-on with most insurers. It typically has a 9–24 month waiting period. Newborn cover can also be included.

Motor Insurance

Yes, third-party motor insurance is mandatory under the Motor Vehicles Act for all vehicles on public roads. Driving without it can result in fines and legal penalties.

Third-party insurance covers only your legal liability to others. Comprehensive insurance also covers damage to your own vehicle from accidents, fire, theft and natural calamities.

Yes. No Claim Bonus (NCB) belongs to you, not to the vehicle. You can transfer it to your new vehicle’s insurance policy.
